Letter: Let’s demand health care that works for all
Jeanette Kuo makes good points (“Health care is a public good we should all pay for,” March 29) about how we can all pay for health insurance and the consequences created by the lack of it.
The Affordable Care Act needs to be amended so it will cover all and have reasonable premiums. One way is the single-payer plan, but there are probably other possibilities.
It’s time for us to write, call or visit our representatives to request the plan works for all. According to the Congressional Management Foundation, after a 12-year study, this is how we influence our representatives and senators to they make these decisions.
So, let’s take action to make our health care system one that works for all.
