Mariner scores four runs in loss to Lynnwood | Prep baseball

The Mariner baseball team scored four runs during a loss to Lynnwod on Tuesday, April 22. The Marauders fell 8-4 in the first game of three against the Royals.

Lynnwood led 3-0 after the second inning, before scoring two in the fourth and three in the bottom of the sixth. Mariner scored all four of its runs in the top of the sixth.

The Royals won with eight runs off seven hits and no errors, while Mariner had four runs off five hits and one error.

Nick Smith had a double during the game for the Marauders.

Mariner, now 0-8 in league and 1-12 overall this season, will play game two against Lynnwood on Wednesday, April 23 at 4 p.m. at home.
