Mariner to host 5th annual Harvest Fest | A&E brief

Oct 05, 2016

Mariner High School is hosting its fifth annual Harvest Festival on Halloween.

The event will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31, at Mariner High School, at 200 120th St. SW in Everett.

Students in grades K-5 in the Mukilteo School District are invited to celebrate Halloween with a variety of games, prizes and, of course, candy.

Organizers said Harvest Festival is a fun and safe event for children to go to on Halloween that features 30 different Halloween-themed carnival booths and a Trick-or-Treat hallway.

Admission is one canned good per person. The donations benefit Mariner’s Food Closet and the Mukilteo Food Bank. More than 10,000 pounds of food was collected last year.

The Harvest Festival Committee is looking for local sponsors so Mariner can buy candy, prizes and decorations for the event. Sponsorship levels include bronze ($50 or more), silver ($200 or more) and gold ($300 or more).

Make checks out to Mariner Marauder Booster Club with the memo "Harvest Fest.”
