|May 28, 2012|
The community is invited to a Remembrance Ceremony at Mukilteo’s Pioneer Cemetery, 513 Webster Street, at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 28.
Sponsored by the Mukilteo Historical Society in cooperation with the city, the event will include a presentation of the colors by Scout Troop 18, patriotic music from the Brass Ensemble of the Mukilteo Presbyterian Church, words of remembrance, and a demonstration of a new electronic tour of the early pioneers buried there.
Following the service, Kay Scheller and Mukilteo’s renowned Storytellers will host an informal reception at the historic Hogland House, 917 Webster Street.
Because parking is limited near the cemetery, free transportation is available from the lower parking lot at the Rosehill Community Center. A bus will leave the lot at 10:20 and 10:40 a.m., with a return trip afterward.
