Mosque meeting postponed until January | Letter

Oct 12, 2016

Editor, The Beacon:

The following is an open letter to the Mukilteo community:

We regret to inform our fellow residents that we are still revising construction plans to build a mosque on Harbour Pointe Boulevard. We are also in the process of negotiations to buy the land adjacent to the property.

Therefore, we are postponing a town hall meeting about the Islamic Center of Mukilteo until January of next year. A date and time have yet to be determined.

Thank you so much for everyone's cooperation and understanding. In the meantime, residents may go to www.icomwa.com or email info@icomwa.com for more information.

Mohammed Riaz Khan,

President,

Muslim Association of Seattle
