Mukilteo student wins Baylor merit scholarship | School brief

A student from Mukilteo was awarded a merit scholarship from Baylor University.

James Bettag, who graduated this year from Archbishop Murphy High School, received the Provost's Gold scholarship. The scholarship provides $32,000 to $40,000 for four years.

Baylor University merit scholarships – of which there are four – are awarded based on class rank and/or SAT/ACT scores for the 2014-2015 academic year. The university awarded nearly 3,500 scholarships to recent high school graduates.

Baylor University is a private Christian university located in Waco, Texas.
