New MS support group to serve Snohomish County
The MS Sno-Flakes is a new multiple sclerosis support group in Edmonds.
Why the name Sno-Flakes? As there are no two snowflakes alike, there are no two people with multiple sclerosis exactly alike, said founder Bill Brayer.
The MS Sno-Flakes Support Group is replacing the MS Helping Hands Sno-King Support Group that was disbanded last June. It will be an independent support group serving Snohomish County.
The Sno-Flakes are scheduled to meet the fourth Thursday of the month from 1-2:30 p.m. at the Edmonds United Methodist Church, starting Thursday, Oct. 27.
The meetings will be for those with MS, as well as their family members, caregivers and friends.
For additional information, if you or someone you know has multiple sclerosis, call Bill Brayer at 206-718-0894 or email him at email@example.com.
He and his wife Carol were the Sno-King Support Group co-facilitators for 23 years, from 1989 to 2012.
