Open House on Harbour Reach Drive Extension Project slated
The city is hosting an Open House on Harbour Reach Drive extension plans from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, at the Mukilteo City Hall.
The city of Mukilteo is initiating a Binding Site Plan (BSP) for the purpose of subdividing city-owned property to create the right-of-way needed for the eventual extension of Harbour Reach Drive at the intersection of Beverly Park Road.
This binding site plan will provide for the alignment of the new street extension and reconfiguration of the existing parcels, which the city will eventually sell when the market is right.
The purpose of the open house is to update residents on the status of the Harbour Reach Drive Extension Project and obtain comments on the preliminary layout plans for the proposed road. The meeting is planned as an informal drop-in open house where you can come and see the preliminary plans and talk with city engineers and planners about the project.
The project includes:
• Road alignment
• Traffic signal on Beverly Park Road
• Drainage improvements
• Landscape berm and fencing
Comment cards will be available at the meeting.
If you have a disability, which may limit your participation in the open house process, please contact the City Clerk's office at 425-263-8005 at least three business days in advance of the meeting so that a reasonable accommodation can be arranged for you.
