Pacifica orchestra to perform Christmas concert
Pacifica Chamber Orchestra will perform its annual Christmas concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8.
The concert will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller Ave. in downtown Everett.
The program will feature Fred Chu, on violin, performing “Summer” from “The Four Seasons” by Vivaldi and Colin Meek, on cello, performing “Pieces en Concert” by Couperin. Chu is the artistic director of the orchestra.
The PCO will also perform “Quintet Op. 56 No. 1” by Danzi, “Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis” by Vaughan Williams and “Symphony No. 84 in Eb Major” by Haydn.
The audience will also be invited to sing along to various Christmas carols.
A reception with cookies and Scandinavian desserts will follow.
Tickets are $20 for general admission and $15 for seniors 65+ and students.

Pacifica Chamber Orchestra is a non-profit organization that performs five subscription concerts each season in Everett plus outreach concerts for elementary students throughout Snohomish County.
