Parents can review HIV/AIDS materials | School brief
Washington state law requires that all students in fifth through 12th grades receive instruction in HIV/AIDS education.
Parents with students enrolled in the Mukilteo School District can preview the instructional materials that will be used in a meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 4.
During the meeting, parents may also review the Human Growth and Development units for fourth through seventh grades, as well as the FLASH curriculum for self-contained, special education students.
The meeting is for parents and guardians only, and will be held beginning at 7 p.m. at the school district’s Teaching and Learning Center, which is on the campus of Explorer Middle School at 9600 Sharon Dr., Everett.
