Phoenix Theatre to raise curtain on ‘Beyond Therapy’
Bruce and Prudence, who are deep into therapy, meet through a personal ad.
Prudence’s macho therapist is urging her to be more assertive, while Bruce’s wacky therapist counsels him that it’s OK to cry.
Prudence doesn’t fully comprehend that Bruce has a male lover who isn’t pleased that Bruce wants to date women, and Bruce doesn’t know how to handle nervous Prudence.
They all learn how to live beyond therapy in this delightful off-Broadway hit, “Beyond Therapy,” presented by the Phoenix Theatre in Edmonds from Feb. 7 to March 2.
Showtimes are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2 p.m. Sundays. Tickets at $18.50 for adults and $15.50 for seniors/military are available at the box office at 206-533-2000 or through brownpapertickets.com.
