Pirates have arrived and taken over a home in Mukilteo.

This over-the-top Halloween display includes mischievous, treasure hunting and haunted pirates, a cursed pirate ship that fires its cannons at passersby, and a ghostly captain who still tries to steer his ship, all with a rousing soundtrack, thunder, lightning and other surprises.

A 100 pumpkin jack-o-lantern arch is also up at the doorway, where Don and Michelle Morin will wait to greet trick or treating pirates and other ghouls daring enough to make their way to the front door on Halloween night.

The Morins have been creating fun, spooky and whimsically detailed Halloween scenes for a number of years in their yard. Onlookers come from near and far to see their spectacular displays.

You can view this display from now through Halloween at the 5800 block of 111th Street S.W. in Mukilteo.
