PNW Lacrosse camp set for August | Sports brief

The third annual Pacific Northwest Lacrosse Camp is schedule for early August.

There is a one-day camp open to all ages and skill levels and a three-day camp for boys 8-12 grades and girls 5-12 grades.

The one-day camp will be held Aug. 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lynnwood High School for players to learn the basics of the game. The camp is $50 per player.

The three-day essentials camp runs Tuesday, Aug. 12-Thursday, Aug. 14 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The camp is $150 and will be held at Lynnwood High School. The camp will help players with fundamentals such as passing, throwing, shooting, defense, faceoffs, offense and more.

On Thursday, Aug. 14 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. there will be a special awards ceremony at Edmonds Marina Beach Park with a dinner.
