Jan. 16
Suspicious Person – 800 blk 3rd St.
A caller reported a woman walking through his yard carrying a crowbar. Officers identified her as a PUD employee; she was carrying a dog stick.
Criminal Traffic – 11800 blk SR-525
An officer stopped vehicle for expired tabs and cited the driver for failing to register the vehicle in his name within 45 days and for driving without a valid ID.
Collision – 4200 blk South Rd.
An officer came upon a one vehicle non-reportable collision. The vehicle slid on some ice at the location, hit a curb and damaged its tire. The officer assisted the driver in moving his vehicle from the location.
Traffic Complaint – 12300 blk H.P. Blvd.
An officer received a report of a dark green Honda driving recklessly in the area. The officer spoke with the parent of the teenaged driver and warned her about her daughter’s driving.
Noise Complaint – 5800 blk 111th St. S.W.
An officer responded to the above residence for a report of an ongoing problem with a barking dog. Upon arrival, the officer heard the dog barking but there was no one home. The caller said that the dog only barks when the residents are not at home. The officer left a warning notice and requested contact from the resident.
Jan. 17
Parking Problem – 608 Front Street 1O41 (O)
The officer spoke with a truck driver that asked for permission to leave his trailer at the location overnight. The officer gave him permission to park his trailer (and possibly his truck) in the Lighthouse Park overnight. He said he would move it in the morning.
Parking Complaint – H.P. Blvd. & Harbour Reach Dr.
An officer responded to a report of a Dodge Ram pickup at the location blocking the roadway. The officer later located the vehicle in the 6500 block of Harbour Heights Parkway and cited the vehicle.
Collision – 7800 blk 44th Ave. W.
Vehicle 1 was traveling on 44th Avenue W., made a left turn on 78th Street and hit a vehicle stopped on 78th at the stop sign. There were no injuries. Criminal Traffic – 7400 blk 46th Ave. W.
An officer stopped a vehicle because the registered owner had a suspended driver’s license. The registered owner was indeed the driver and the officer cited her for third-degree DWLS (Driving With License Suspended).
Collision – 121st St. & SR-525
A caller reported being involved in a rear-ender collision at the location. The officers discovered that the collision occurred on 121st in the county and Snohomish County deputies responded to handle it.
Collision – 4200 H.P. Blvd. S.W.
Vehicle 1 rear-ended a stopped vehicle (Vehicle 2) and pushed Vehicle 2 into another stopped vehicle (Vehicle 3). The driver of Vehicle 2 complained of back pain and was treated at the scene by the Fire Department.
Possible DUI – 10500 blk H.P. Blvd.
An officer responded to a possible DUI driver in the area. The officer did not witness any driving but spoke with the registered owner at her house later. She was intoxicated and the officer warned her about driving under the influence.
Possible DUI – H.P. Blvd. & SR-525
An officer responded to a possible DUI driver in the area in a silver Hyundai. The vehicle was gone on arrival.
Burglary – 4800 blk 73rd Pl. S.W.
A caller reported that sometime during the morning someone forced entry into his house. One of his credit cards was used at a gas station and attempted to be used at an Everett store, where it was declined. A neighbor reported seeing a white sedan parked across the street. The caller believes that his ex-wife’s step-son is responsible.
Traffic – 5300 blk H.P. Blvd.
An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and found that the driver was suspended. He was cited and released.
Agency Assist – SR-525 & Bernie Webber Dr.
A Snohomish County deputy requested assistance taking a subject into custody on a warrant. Officers stood by while the deputy made the arrest without incident.
Unwanted Subject – 3900 blk H.P. Blvd. S.W.
Officers responded to the location to assist management with an unwanted guest. The officers stood by while the manager attempted to contact the occupants. There was no one in the room and management electronically changed the lock.
Jan. 18
Traffic Hazard – 88th St. S.W. & SR-525
A caller reported extreme icing conditions on 88th Street S.W. on both sides of SR-525. Public Works was notified of the need for sanding and de-icing.
Assist SCSO – 11600 blk Marine View Dr.
An officer responded to the above location to assist the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office with containment for a residential burglary at 11900 block Maplewood Avenue. Snohomish County’s deputies broke containment before the officer arrived.
2 Car Injury Crash – 8000 blk SR-525
Vehicle 1 was stopped northbound on SR-525 at the post office waiting to turn left. Vehicle 2 was southbound on SR-525 at the entrance to the post office. Vehicle 1 suddenly turned directly into Vehicle 2. The driver of Vehicle 2 was transported by ambulance with chest injuries. There was very dense fog.
Loud Party – 5800 blk 106th St. S.W.
Officers responded to a report of a party with loud music at the above location. The officers found no party, just a band playing in a garage. The resident agreed to cut the noise level.
Theft – 3900 blk H.P. Blvd. S.W.
Victims came to the station to report the theft of a cellphone that happened at the above location about three weeks ago. There were no suspects.
1 Car Crash – 800 blk 7th St.
An officer contacted a caller at the above location. The caller stated that they had been forced to take evasive action to avoid a crash and then struck the curb, damaging the right side wheels. No contact was made with the other vehicle.
4 Car Crash – 11100 blk SR-525
Vehicle 1 struck Vehicle 2 from behind, driving it forward into the rear of Vehicle 3 and driving it forward into the rear of Vehicle 4. There were no injuries reported.
Extra Patrol – 4400 blk Chennault Beach Rd.
A caller requests extra patrol at the business due to a disgruntled ex-employee being upset about his final paycheck.
Criminal Traffic – 3rd St. & SR-525
An officer stopped a vehicle and cited the driver for third-degree DWLS.
Assist Law – Beverly Park Rd. & SR-525
An officer was dispatched to a report of a collision that occurred near Albertson’s. The collision occurred outside of the city, so Washington State Patrol responded.
Assist Law – Beverly Park Rd. & Picnic Pointe Rd.
Officers were dispatched to a report of a woman who had been pushed out of a vehicle somewhere in the area. The woman was located at the above location and appeared to have sustained an ankle injury when her husband reportedly pushed her out of his truck. Snohomish County deputies responded to take the report.
Jan. 19
Animal Problem – 10400 blk 62nd Pl. W.
A caller reported that her next-door neighbor is keeping domesticated ducks at the residence. They are not well cared for and were, at the time of her call, in her yard. An officer saw the neighbor arrive home and immediately send her children out to herd the ducks into their backyard. The case is under investigation.
Welfare Check – 4300 blk 130th Pl. S.W.
A caller reported that her husband was acting paranoid and not making any sense when he spoke. He had reportedly been smoking medicinal marijuana earlier before he started acting strangely. The husband was ultimately transported by aid to the hospital for an evaluation.
Area Check-DUI – 92nd. St. & SR-525
An officer was dispatched to an area check for a possible DUI in a black Honda. The officer made contact with the driver in the parking lot and determined he was not intoxicated.
Criminal Traffic – 600 blk Front St.
An officer stopped a vehicle and cited the driver for third-degree DWLS.
Jan. 20
Check Welfare – 6200 blk St. Andrews Dr.
Officers were requested to check on a caller’s daughter, living at the above address with his ex-wife. He stated that he had received a text from the ex-wife last night claiming the daughter had fallen down stairs. This morning, she sent a text stating that the daughter had not made it through the night. Officers contacted the ex-wife at the residence and saw that the child was perfectly fine.
Malicious Mischief 2 – 9400 blk 57th Ave. W.
A caller reported that last week the outdoor lights by her driveway were smashed. There were no suspects.
Theft – 4500 blk H.P. Blvd.
A man came to the station and reported his bicycle had been stolen from his patio last Thursday. It was a black mountain bike and the cable lock had to be cut to take it from the railing it had been locked to. There were no suspects and the serial number was not available.
Attempted Residential Burglary – 6300 blk Chennault Beach Dr.
A resident found damage to his door and suspected an attempted residential burglary. The case is under investigation.
Found Property – 4600 blk H.P. Blvd.
An officer responded to the location regarding a half-stripped bicycle found in the public bike rack with the lock cut. The officer ran the ID numbers and determined that it had not been reported as stolen. The bicycle was left at the library.
Juvenile Problem – 4500 blk H.P. Blvd.
A caller reported that her foster son was not following rules and refusing to leave the apartment complex office and return to the above apartment. He had returned to the apartment before an officer arrived.
Residential Burglary/Theft – 12400 blk Ironwood Ln.
A caller reported that he had just discovered that residence had been burgled sometime in the last five to six days. The case is under investigation.
Patrol Information – SR-526 & Seaway Blvd.
Sno-Pac dispatch advised that a silver VW Jetta was westbound on SR-526 from Seaway Boulevard and was being driven erratically. The Jetta was not located.

An officer stopped a vehicle and cited the driver for third-degree DWLS.
Assist Law – 12500 blk SR-525
Edmonds police requested that an officer check the welfare of a girl who was waiting for her mother at Starbucks. The mother was concerned that her ex-husband might try to come pick up the daughter following a custody dispute in Edmonds. A Mukilteo officer stood by with the daughter until her mother arrived to get her.

An officer stopped a vehicle and cited the driver for third-degree DWLS.

An officer stopped a vehicle and cited the driver for third-degree DWLS.
Theft – 12700 blk SR-525
A caller reported that a man took cigarettes without paying for them about five minutes earlier. The subject was described as a white man in his 20s. There was no further information available.
Illegal Dumping – 40th & 78th Sts.
A passerby reported seeing a large pile of garbage (mattress, yard waste, etc.) along the side of the road. There was no suspect information. It appeared the items were possibly on private property.
Suspicious – 6000 blk Championship Ct.
A resident reported that five minutes earlier he found a white man in his 40s on his property who may have also been looking into his garage. The man was last seen walking toward 61st Street and Clubhouse Lane where he likely left in a vehicle. The resident would not file a report and the subject was not located.
Jan. 21
Criminal Traffic – 8400 blk Paine Field Blvd.
An officer stopped a vehicle because the registered owner had a suspended license. The officer discovered that the owner was indeed driving and he was cited for third-degree DWLS.

An officer stopped a vehicle because the registered owner had a suspended license. The officer discovered that the owner was indeed driving and he was cited for third-degree DWLS and not having insurance in the vehicle.
Information – 3900 blk H.P. Blvd. S.W.
A bail bondsman reported that he was at the location to serve warrants on two subjects. He did not need assistance. Officers stood by while one of the subjects was arrested.

A resident reported finding a golden lab in her garage. An officer was able to reunite the dog with its owner.

An officer stopped a vehicle because the registered owner had a suspended license. The officer discovered that the owner was indeed driving and he was cited for third-degree DWLS and not having insurance in the vehicle.
Suspicious – 11700 blk SR-525
A caller reported witnessing an in-progress vehicle prowl. He identified a suspect. Subsequent investigation revealed that the car belonged to one of the suspect’s friends and he was allowed to be in the vehicle.
Vehicle Prowl – 4800 blk 99th St. S.W.
A caller reported that an unknown person(s) prowled his unlocked vehicle overnight. An officer was on-scene at the time of this writing and it is unknown what (if anything) was taken.
Suspicious – 4800 blk H.P. Blvd. S.W.
A caller reported a suspicious man with a flashlight in the woods this morning at about 6 a.m. and requested extra patrols.
Vehicle Prowl – 11100 blk Chennault Beach Rd.
A caller reported that her vehicle was prowled. It is unknown what timeframe there was or and what was taken. An officer was still on-scene at press time.
Suspicious – 1000 blk 10th St.
A resident reported a subject soliciting door-to-door. He provided no description. The subject was not located.
Suspicious – 7200 blk 47th Ave. W.
A caller reported that about 2 hours prior to his calling 911, a man parked a truck in front of the above location did something in the back, and then walked away. He felt that it was suspicious. Officers found that the man was the nephew of a neighbor. The information was passed on to the caller.
Illegal Dumping – 4000 blk 78th St. S.W.
A caller reported that someone dumped a large load of garbage near the above location. This was previously reported on the weekend. An officer left a message for Public Works.
Missing Person – 5300 blk H.P. Blvd.
A resident reported that her husband did not come home after work as expected. She said that he works at a business in Lynnwood and usually leaves work by 3 a.m. An officer was still investigating at the time of this report.
Jan. 22
Harassment – 10800 blk H.P. Blvd.
A caller reported that a student threatened to kill her son. After investigation, an officer discovered that the threat happened about a month ago and that no probable cause exists. The caller said that she was going to try to get a court order.
Burglary – 11100 blk 58th Ave. W.
A resident came to the station to report that she thought her son broke into her house (after being kicked out), and stole her laptop. The case is under investigation.
Agency Assist – 10500 blk 47th Ave. W.
Clallam County Sheriff’s Office requested DNA evidence collected from a subject for an investigation that they are conducing. The subject met an officer at the station and he collected the evidence to be sent on to CCSO.
Civil Standby – 13400 blk Pacific Point Ln.
A repo agent requested a civil standby while he repossessed a vehicle at the location. The vehicle left prior to the officer’s arrival.
Attempted Burglary – 900 blk SR-525
Officers responded to the above residence for an alarm and found evidence of an attempted break in. It did not appear that entry had been made and the homeowner confirmed that nothing appeared to be missing.
Assist Fire – 3900 blk H.P. Blvd. S.W.
Officers responded to the location at the request of the Fire Department. The hotel clerk suspected that a guest had pulled the fire alarm several times but no one actually saw him do it. The officers spoke to him and warned him of the consequences of future false alarms.
Noise – 4500 blk H.P. Blvd.
A caller reported that a neighbor was playing a loud stereo. The officers contacted the resident, who agreed to turn it down.
Traffic – SR-525 & Evergreen Dr.
An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and found that the driver was third-degree DWLS. He was cited and released.
Civil – 13400 blk Pacific Pointe Ln.
An officer was dispatched to a civil standby at the location. The caller was reportedly en route to repossess a BMW and requested police standby while he did this. The officer went to the location and determined the BMW was not there. The officer advised the caller of this via phone.
