Police beat (March 17-23)
A male reported that someone entered his vehicle in the 5800 block of 112th Place Southwest.
A female in the 11100 block of Chennault Beach Road who reportedly received a phone call from someone telling her that she had won a grant did not fall for the scam.
A male was contacted, cited and released as officers investigated a theft report in the 11700 block of Mukilteo Speedway.
Hit and run
A hit-and-run collision occurred in the 11100 block of Chennault Beach Road.
A male was reportedly assaulted by two family members in the 700 block of Front Street during a dispute. Officers arrested the two family members on suspicion of fourth-degree assault and booked them into the Snohomish County Jail.
In a ditch
Upon responding to a vehicle in a ditch in the 1100 block of 9th Street, an officer found the driver outside the vehicle and determined the person had been drinking. The case is under investigation.
No one was injured in a two-vehicle collision in the 11700 block of Mukilteo Speedway.
A vehicle was reportedly stolen in the 4500 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard.
Safe and sound asleep
Officers visited a residence in the 6000 block of Saint Andrews Drive to check on a male’s welfare, but found the man was sleeping and did not need assistance.
Upon investigating a report of loud noise in the 12300 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard, an officer found a child being loud.
Officers contacted a male in Japanese Gulch who had reportedly been acting suspicious and advised him on proper conduct at city parks.
Upon investigating a disturbance in the 12300 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard, officers determined family members had been arguing. Officers found no evidence of assault, but did discover damage to a vehicle.
Two reportedly suspicious subjects with skateboards in the 4900 block of 92nd Street Southwest were gone upon an officer’s arrival.
An officer investigated a theft report in the 10800 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard.
Cell phone found
A cell phone found at Lighthouse Park was turned in to police and placed in found property.
Following a standoff, officers arrested a female who reportedly pointed a gun at an officer in the 11700 block of Hartford Way on suspicion of first-degree assault and booked her into the Snohomish County Jail.
A vehicle collision in the 3800 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard Southwest resulted in no reportable damage.
Police advised a male in the 1500 block of Mukilteo Lane to contact an attorney regarding a civil dispute over property ownership.
A male who found an injured bird in the 600 block of Front Street contacted PAWS, which assisted him in getting the bird to its facility.
Officers contacted a male and a female at Edgewater Beach, arresting the male on an arrest warrant and citing the female for possession of drug paraphernalia.
No assault occurred during an argument between a male and a female over relationship issues in the 5500 block of 93rd Place Southwest.
An officer issued a warning for an illegally parked vehicle in the 4800 block of Pointes Drive.
A female in the 5300 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard did not fall victim to repeated phone calls from someone claiming to be a bill collector.
Two males who had been soliciting in the 9800 block of 50th Place West agreed to stop until they could secure the appropriate permits.
A female reported discovering damage to her vehicle in the 4900 block of 94th Street Southwest.
An officer informed a vehicle owner that their vehicle had been left unsecured in the 8800 block of 47th Place West. The vehicle owner said it had been left unsecure by mistake.
A reportedly suspicious male in the 12100 block of Cyrus Way had just finished repairing his bicycle and rode off when an officer arrived on scene.
A motorcyclist struck a curb at Mukilteo Speedway and Beverly Park Road.
An employee who had been dumping garbage in a Dumpster in the 8400 block of Mukilteo Speedway believed they had permission to do so. In responding to a report of illegal dumping at the location, an officer told the employee to check with the reporting party before using the Dumpster in the future.
An officer was flagged down to assist a female in need of medical attention at 92nd Street Park. Aid crews took her to the hospital.
A two-vehicle collision in the 12600 block of Mukilteo Speedway did not block traffic.
