In responding to a neighbor’s complaint of dogs barking in the 8900 block of 49th Ave. West, an officer found the dogs were not barking. Later the same day, an officer responded to another such complaint to find the dogs barking and issued the owner a criminal citation.
A female in the 4600 block of 76th Street Southwest did not fall victim to a scam phone call from a male subject claiming to be her grandson. When she asked for his date of birth, he hung up.

After a female in the 13500 block of Beverly Park Road reported her vehicle stolen, an officer found the vehicle and discovered a male family member had taken it without permission. Charges will be referred.

An officer responded to the ferry terminal to dispose of a deceased possum that was initially reported as a deceased cat.
Hit and run
A vehicle that reportedly struck an unoccupied, parked car in the area of 4th Street and Loveland Ave. and then left the area was gone upon an officer’s arrival. The case is under investigation.
A male was locked out of a residence in the 11100 block of Chennault Beach Road due to a disagreement with his family members.
Two subjects in a vehicle in the 11500 block of Cyrus Way reportedly refused to leave. All parties were gone upon an officer’s arrival.
A female in the 600 block of Front Street reported she had been talking to her husband on the phone as he was driving in the Fife area and he told her he felt dizzy. An officer was notifying Fife police when the female called back to say she had spoken to her husband again and he was fine.
An abandoned vehicle blocking a lane of travel at Mukilteo Speedway and Paine Field Blvd. was impounded after officers failed to locate the driver.
No one was injured in a two-vehicle blocking collision at Harbour Heights Parkway and 58th Ave. West.
An officer determined a reportedly suspicious male walking a dog in the 12300 block of Clubhouse Lane was in fact a contractor working.
While assessing the slickness of the roadway at Goat Trail Road and Washington Ave., an officer witnessed a two-vehicle collision caused by the slick roadway. No one was injured. The city’s Public Works department applied sand to the road surface to alleviate the problem.
A vehicle ran into a fence in the 12500 block of Evergreen Drive.
A residential burglary was reported in the 9000 block of 53rd Ave. West.
A male requested extra patrols after seeing a suspicious solicitor in the 10500 block of Marine View Drive. The solicitor was gone upon an officer’s arrival.
An officer discovered that a purse reportedly stolen in the 11800 block of Harbour Pointe Blvd. had in fact been left at the location. The purse was returned to its owner.
A female reported someone had been knocking on her door in the 9700 block of Marine View Drive. An officer advised her that solicitors had been in the neighborhood earlier.
Upon responding to a report of a subject yelling for help in the 1400 block of Goat Trail Loop Road, officers discovered the subject had started a small fire. The fire department responded and extinguished the fire.
A male was arrested when officers assisted sheriff’s deputies in responding to a domestic situation in the 14700 block of 57th Place West.
No one was injured in a two-vehicle blocking collision in the 11600 block of Mukilteo Speedway.
