Snohomish County PUD invites Mukilteo residents and businesses to a second meeting on May 9 to assess if there is enough interest to support a “Solarize Mukilteo” campaign in the community.

The Solarize campaign brings solar energy to the community by helping neighbors and small business owners come together to realize significant cost reductions through group evaluations and purchases of solar systems.

Similar efforts have proven successful in other communities in the Pacific Northwest. The meeting is scheduled as follows:

The agenda will include a discussion about how to structure the initiative, partnerships and outreach to interested members of the community. If there is sufficient interest in proceeding, the program will move forward in Mukilteo.
