Puppy, kitty season to hit area soonAnimal Shelter welcomes donations of “nursery” items for baby animals
It's the start of puppy and kitten season in our area. That means lots of baby animals will end up at the Everett Animal Shelter in need of some special care before finding new homes.
Because of the expected influx of baby animals, the animal shelter is accepting "pet nursery" items such as puppy and kitten milk replacement formula (powder), potty training pads and heating pads (must be in good condition).
Drop off donations at the Everett Animal Shelter, 333 Smith Island Rd. in Everett.
Stay connected with the Everett Animal Shelter from your smart phone by “liking” the Everett Animal Shelter Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Everett-Animal-Shelter/226857204040275 . The page features “Happy Tails,” upcoming events and pictures of adorable, adoptable animals.
The Everett Animal Shelter cares for and houses lost or unwanted pets from Everett and most of Snohomish County and its cities. The shelter staff and its volunteers work to prepare those animals for adoption. The shelter has a thriving volunteer program and welcomes new volunteers.
