Register a team for Mukilteo Relay For Life
Local volunteers for the American Cancer Society are gearing up for Mukilteo's second annual Relay For Life this summer.
Volunteers will be at two Mukilteo locations from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, to register participants: the QFC and YMCA.
Stop by to ask questions, collect information, and learn about volunteering and sponsorship opportunities. This weekend only, the cost of registration is $5 — half the original fee.
This year's Relay For Life of Mukilteo will be held from noon on Saturday, July 12, until 9 a.m. on Sunday, July 13, at Kamiak High School's track.
Last year's inaugural event raised more than $47,000 for the American Cancer Society. Organizers hope to surpass that amount this year.

The Mukilteo Family YMCA is at 10601 47th Pl. W. in Mukilteo and the QFC is at 11700 Mukilteo Speedway Ste. 300 in Mukilteo.

The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life is the world's largest grassroots fundraising movement. It began in 1985, and today, Relay For Life events are held in more than 5,200 communities in the U.S. and in 20 other countries.
Every relay celebrates people who have battled cancer, remembers loved ones lost, and provides participants with an opportunity to fight back against the disease.
