Join the Kamiak boys basketball coaches and varsity basketball team for their holiday hoops camp on Jan. 2-3 from 9-11:30 a.m. at the Kamiak High School gym.

This camp is for boys in grades 3-7, and the cost is $55 if registered before Dec. 21.  (Cost is $60 if registered after Dec. 21.)

These two fun-filled days at the Knights Holiday Hoops Camp will emphasize the basic fundamental skills of basketball.  In addition to learning individual skills needed for shooting, defense, dribbling, rebounding, and passing, the campers will also learn several skills in a team-oriented environment.

The campers will also learn about teamwork and good sportsmanship.  The camp will provide boys an opportunity to improve their basketball skills in a fun and positive environment while helping them burn off a little holiday energy.

The camp is led by Kamiak Varsity basketball coach Cory West and assistants.  The campers will be assisted in drills, skill stations, and games by the Kamiak Knights boys’ varsity basketball team.

Each participant will also receive a camp T-shirt and compete for prizes.  Each camper should wear comfortable athletic clothes and indoor basketball shoes.  Also, bring a basketball (if you have one) and a water bottle or sports drink plus a great attitude.
