Ride Community Transit bus for free to Lighthouse Festival1,000 free ride tickets are available starting Aug. 28
Community Transit is teaming up with the Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival and the city of Mukilteo to provide free bus rides to the Lighthouse Festival on Sept. 6-7.
The city is covering the cost of the bus rides. Pick up your free ride tickets starting Wednesday, Aug. 28, at the following times and location:
Mukilteo City Hall
11930 Cyrus Way, Mukilteo
Monday-Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Rosehill Community Center
304 Lincoln Ave., Mukilteo
Monday -Friday 6:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Saturday 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Mukilteo Chamber of Commerce
4902 76th Street SW, Mukilteo
Monday -Friday 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Free ride tickets are limited to six tickets per family. A total of 1,000 tickets will be handed out, first come, first served.
On Friday, Sept. 6, festival-goers can use their free-ride tickets on Route 113 (Ash Way Park & Ride – Mukilteo Ferry), Route 417 (Downtown Seattle – Mukilteo Ferry) and Route 880 (University District – Mukilteo Ferry).
On Saturday, Sept. 7, festival-goers can use their free-ride tickets on Route 113. Community Transit buses do not operate on Sundays.
Even if you don’t get a free ride ticket, you can take the bus to the Lighthouse Festival.
Local bus service is $2 for adults, $1.50 for youth (6-17) and $1 for reduced fare customers (seniors, disabled and Medicare). For schedule information, visit www.communitytransit.org/mukilteo.
