Snohomish, Mukilteo players make 2014 Washington girls lacrosse high school All-Conference teams

Several local girls lacrosse players were named to the 2014 Washington girls high school lacrosse All-Conference teams.

There were 60 players in total honored, from 36 high schools around the state, earning all-state selections. Twenty in the state earned the honor the second straight year, while four are three-time honorees.

In the North Sound Conference, Glacier Peak senior Kayla Petz was honored. She is an attack for Snohomish and it is her second straight nomination. Teammate Hannah Dalrymple, a senior midfielder at Snohomish High School, was also named to the all-conference team, her third straight honor. Hailey Nyquist, a senior defender for Snohomish, earned her second straight all-conference nomination.

Mukilteo's Melanie Rizzotti was named to the all-conference team. She's a senior midfielder at Kamiak High School.

The list is voted on by girls varsity coaches in the state.
