The Washington Rush Girls U14 Nike team won the Virginia Mason U.S. Youth Soccer Washington State Championship on May 2. This group of 16 athletes, some from Mukilteo, not only won Washington Rush’s first state championship, but did it by not conceding one goal in all six state cup games.

After an intense round of penalties that lasted six rounds, they eventually defeated Eastside FC and claimed the state title. The team will now represent Rush and the state of Washington at the Far West Regional Championship held in Honolulu, Hawaii June 17-23.
