Stream Foundation hosts bear talk

1 p.m. at the Northwest Stream Center at Snohomish County’s McCollum Park (600 128th St. SE in Everett). The Adopt A Stream Foundation’s Streamkeeper Academy presents Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife Officer Nick Jorg, who you may have seen on Animal Planet. He’ll talk about bears in Washington State with help from his partner, Colter, a Karelian bear dog. After the talk, take a walk along the Northwest Stream Center’s ½-mile Elevated Nature Trail. $5 for members, $7 for non-members. Pre-registration required; call 425-316-8592.
