Students uKnight non-profits and community with DECA tradeshow
More than 50 non-profit organizations will be represented at the eventKing’s High School DECA presents the 2013 uKnighting Leaders Operation Outreach tradeshow. The show will be held Wednesday, Jan. 16 and Thursday, Jan. 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the King’s Garden Gym at King’s High School, 19303 Fremont Avenue North, Seattle, WA.
High School students in the King’s High School DECA program partnered with non-profits throughout the Puget Sound area to promote the organizations and encourage volunteerism at the 2013 KHS uKnighting Leaders Operation Outreach tradeshow.
The students will present interactive booths to engage visitors and demonstrate the business and leaderships skills learned in the DECA program.
More than 50 non-profit organizations will be represented at the event, which is expected to welcome more than 1,200 business leaders, families, school district staff and community members over two days.
The uKnighting Leaders Operation Outreach tradeshow will provide non-profit organizations from the Puget Sound with publicity and promotion, increasing awareness and enthusiasm for community members while providing students with hands-on experience and real time learning opportunities.
