Support the festival – you could win $5,000
We all have been hit by hard times in recent years in one way or another. The Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival was no exception.
Last year, the festival received half the funds it usually gets from the city and also missed out on a tourism grant and other sources of funding.
In order to make this festival great, the Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival Association needs your help. We have come up with some fun ways for you to get involved with the 2012 Lighthouse Festival.
This year, for the first time, you can help fund our community’s festival by purchasing a 50/50 raffle ticket. For as little as $5, or the price of a ticket, you can be in a raffle drawing to win $5,000! Or, increase your odds and buy a book of five tickets for $20.
Only 2,500 tickets are available, and if you are the lucky winner, you will split the $10,000 pot with the Lighthouse Festival!
The festival’s $5,000 will help offset some of the cost of this wonderful community event. You can purchase raffle tickets at the Mukilteo Chamber of Commerce, Barbara’s Floral, Celtic Coffee or the Mukilteo Chocolate Company.

This year, the fun will continue at Lighthouse Park including family Entertainment, art booths, food booths, parade, fireworks, microbrew/wine garden, lighthouse tours, salmon bake, fly over air show, NEW children’s activities, fudge carving contest, teen battle of the bands, the fishing derby and more will all be happening the weekend after Labor Day, Sept. 7, 8 and 9.
Friend of the Festival/ T-shirt offer
Another simple but valuable way you can help support the festival is to become a “Friend of the Festival,” business sponsor, or non-profit organization sponsor.
With a contribution of $35, receive a festival T-shirt and individual membership. Receive two T-shirts with a contribution of $50 and a family membership.

Hand-painted miniature lighthouses
Be the first one on your block to purchase a mini lighthouse, which can be purchased for only $100. These replica lighthouses are about 4 feet tall and are made out of plywood. They are a great addition to anyone’s home or business.
The artist did a wonderful job, and these mini lighthouses really look great. For an additional $25, the artist will be happy to customize the lighthouse for your family or your business.
Organizations and businesses may become sponsors for as little as $100. At that level, your business or organization’s website will be linked to our site and, during the festival, a handout or brochure about your business may be placed at the Festival Information Booth.

*Silver Tier sponsors or higher are eligible for booth space at the festival. This includes a 10 X10 space for three days. Bring your own tent, tables, chair and other promotional materials.
