Suspect arrested For Indecent Exposure
Mukilteo police arrested a Langley man last week after several females reported he had exposed himself.
According to Officer Myron Travis, on Thursday, Dec. 8, Mukilteo officers responded to the 10200 block of 62nd Place W where a juvenile female reported a man driving a beige or tan four door vehicle with front passenger side damage appeared to be following her as she was walking.
The driver pulled next to the female and asked a question. The female approached the vehicle to respond to the question and saw that the man was exposing himself, Travis said. She quickly left the location and called police.
On the same day, Mukilteo officers responded to three additional indecent exposure incidents, Travis said.
The victims were juvenile females who described similar facts and circumstances of what occurred. The other incidents occurred at the 5800 block of Central Drive and the 11100 block of Chennault Beach Road.
Diligent investigative work by Mukilteo officers, detectives, and investigators with the Lynnwood Police Department led to the identification and arrest of Chase Everett Collins, Travis said.
Collins, 21, is a resident of Langley. He was booked at the Snohomish County Jail on four counts of Investigation of Indecent Exposure.
Police Chief Cheol Kang said, “Thanks to the immediate action taken by the victims and witnesses, the suspect and associated vehicle were properly identified.
“I’d especially like to thank our law enforcement partners with the Lynnwood Police Department who helped us to locate and arrest the suspect. ”
