Suspicious circumstance being investigated
The man is described as being a white male with blonde hair in his mid to late 20sLynnwood Police Detectives are investigating a suspicious circumstance that occurred near the 18000 block of Highway 99 in Lynnwood Tuesday morning.
A 15-year-old Lynnwood girl reported that she got scared and ran off after an unknown man got out of a parked car and spoke to her around 6:30 a.m. this morning as she was walking through a business parking lot to her school bus stop.
The man is described as being a white male with blonde hair in his mid to late 20s. He was about six feet tall and medium built. He was wearing a gray jacket and blue jeans, and driving a late model two-door car. There is no other information at this time.
The girl is a ninth-grader at Lynnwood High School which is located outside the city limits of Lynnwood in the unincorporated area of Snohomish County.
The girl reported the incident to her mother and to the school after she arrived there. Lynnwood High School, along with Edmonds School District officials are working closely with the Lynnwood Police Department.
