Thank you for re-electing me | Letter
Editor, The Beacon:
I want to thank the citizens of Mukilteo for their support and trust in me, to continue to serve this great little city. I'm proud of the progress we've made, and look forward to the progress we will continue to make.
I want to congratulate the other winning candidates, Bob Champion and mayor-elect Jennifer Gregerson. I look forward to working with you in the coming year. (Terry and Ted, we're still waiting for those last votes to be counted!)
I also want to thank the others that also threw their hat in the ring; I admire your desire to also serve our city, and look forward to seeing your continuing contributions throughout the community.
Joe Marine, you were a terrific mayor that made a lasting impact on all of our lives; thank you. Richard Emery, your unwavering support of Japanese Gulch was a beacon for all of us; I was proud to have you representing us. Thank you.
I also want to thank my supporters; with your donations, door-belling, votes and most importantly, your friendship! Because of you, I will be representing Mukilteo again!
Robert Knoll was my campaign manager, one of the sharpest minds I know. Thank you for your excellent advice and coaching; I know I wasn't the ideal candidate, with all my other activities right in the middle of a campaign, but somehow you were able to keep me on task!
Finally, I want to thank my wife, Vicki, for her constant support throughout the many years. I couldn't do it without you – and wouldn't want to.
Thank you all,
Mukilteo City Councilmember
