Theater in the Park returns to Mukilteo July 20, July 27
The Theater in the Park series presented by the Mukilteo Recreation Department returns this weekend.
There will be two Shakespeare performances this summer – one at the Rosehill Community Center followed by another at 92nd Street Park. Performances are free.
The first performance will be noon on Saturday, July 20, at the Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Ave. Last Leaf Productions will be performing "Much Ado About Nothing," a play about two intertwined love stories.
The second performance will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, at 92nd Street Park, 4800 92nd St. S.W. Last Leaf will be performing "Richard III," a story about the rise of a king through a series of terrible acts.
The venue for both performances moved out of Lighthouse Park, where the performances were held in 2013, to better accommodate parking and help eliminate noise from passing trains and ferry traffic.
These performances were made possible by Mukilteo Kids Dentistry and UniEnergy Techonlogies.
