Traffic problem would hamper passenger flights | Letter
Editor, The Beacon:
I was very interested in last week’s article about the New York company that wants to build a terminal at Paine Field [“Company wants to build terminal at Paine Field,” The Beacon, front page, June 25].
I have some questions for them. Have they ever been on SR-526 or Airport Road in traffic? Especially when Boeing employees get off from work. How many people have been injured or killed in the past years in this heavy congestion? How would we get to our planes on time?
No one seems to talk about this. I’ve lived a couple of blocks away from the airport for 28 years. Believe me – it’s a problem!
