VINTERDANSEN weekend will take you to Sweden, with a talented guest musician, nyckelharpist Ben Teitelbaum, on Friday through Sunday, Feb. 1–3, 2013.

We’ll have a special Friday night dance (preceded by dinner!) at the Cedar Valley Grange (20526-52nd Ave. West, Lynnwood, WA 98036-7610) and workshops over the weekend for musicians and dancers (Judy Patterson and Jerry Walsh will teach Värmland dances).

Ben plays with great energy and joy.

His special interest is music from Värmland in western Sweden,

but he plays tunes from many parts of Sweden and Norway. If you’re a Finnskogspols fan, you’re in luck; Ben has quite a pols repertoire.
