Visit your local animal shelter for adoption event
Join Pawsitive Alliance and animal shelters across Washington state on Saturday, Oct. 1, during their fifth annual Statewide Shelter Open House Event.
There will be many different activities, discounts, and fun for all on this special day with at least 33 shelters participating and hundreds of animals available for adoption.
Each shelter will be hosting their own PAWty, and the goal is to help the shelters grow their adopter, donor, and volunteer bases while raising awareness of the good work they do on a daily basis for animals in need.
“We are on our fifth year for this event and are thrilled that we have so many shelters participating,” said Yolanda Morris, president of Pawsitive Alliance.
