Volunteer Beach Docents wanted

Edmonds Parks & Recreation is looking for people who want to spend a few hours volunteering as Beach Docents this summer at the Olympic Beach Visitor Station.
The station is open Noon – 4 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays, June 29 – Sept. 1, and weekdays if staffing is available.
This volunteer opportunity is perfect for anyone who enjoys meeting and sharing ideas with beach visitors, and wants to help preserve Edmonds' waterfront beauty and learn about tidepool plants and animals.
Volunteering as a Beach Docent at the Olympic Beach Visitor Station is a great opportunity to make a difference in the community.
An orientation will be held June 18, 6 – 8:30 p.m. at the Frances Anderson Center, 700 Main Street, Edmonds.
