Want to play some music?

They'll be playing “Summertime and the Living is Easy” by July... carols by Christmas!
Apr 26, 2012

The Music Hall Players in partnership with the Snohomish County Music Project is forming an all-comers-welcome orchestra for the recreational playing of music.

Whether it’s Mozart, pops, or folk tunes, their organization will help you rediscover your old favorites and playing abilities or practice a new instrument you’re just now learning.

The orchestra’s rehearsals, fun-sessions of making music together, will be held weekly, with a program that supports people with a wide range of abilities.

They'll be playing musical arrangements from a beginning level to intermediate.

An organizational meeting will be held at the Everett Mall Music Hall (next to Macy’s), on Tuesday, May 15 at 7 p.m.

There will not be much music made at this first meeting, but players are encouraged to bring any instruments that you want checked over or if you want advice on minor repairs and leads on rentals.

You can hear more about where this is going, pick up some music examples, and help determine a weekly meeting day and time.

Join them!  They'll be playing “Summertime and the Living is Easy” by July... carols by Christmas!
