The Feb. 7 Whidbey Weavers Guild meeting features the program “Weaving with Wire and Metal” by Susan McGehee.
McGehee creates whimsical wire and metal kimonos using bronze or stainless steel screen; embellished with scraps of wire from her weavings, recycled electronic odds and ends and a variety of found treasures. She is teaching a workshop on her methods Feb. 8, 9 and 10.
The meeting will run as follows:
10 – 11 a.m. Business Meeting
11 a.m. - noon Show & Tell and Other Fiber Presentations
noon - 12:45p.m. Brown Bag Lunch
12:45 - 1:45 p.m. Program
1:45 – 2 p.m. Wrap up/Clean up
