Winter all-league teams announced

Kamiak and Mariner each had two wrestlers receive all-Wesco 4A recognition.

Kamiak’s Ally de la Cruz, who won the school’s first-ever state wrestling title, earned Wesco 4A recognition in the 155-pound division in girls wrestling. Teammate Diana Cantini, a freshman, was recognized in the 100 division.

Mariner’s Levi Weaver was the top 113-pounder and teammate Cayden Herbert earned honors at 220 in boys wrestling.

Kamiak junior Carson Tuttle was named to the first team in boys basketball. Teammate Christian Clausen was a second-team selection. Kamiak senior Sarah Payne was selected to the first team in girls basketball. Mariner senior Zaria Smith and junior Hannah Hezekiah were named to the second team.

Kamiak’s Max Fang earned all-league boys swimming honors in the 200 freestyle and Brian Park was recognized in the 50 freestyle.
