The 17th Annual Christmas Spectacular is a celebration of life in our community over the holidays with a special focus upon Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington.

The Christmas Spectacular takes place Saturday, Dec. 16 at the Everett Civic Auditorium (2415 Colby Ave, Everett).

The event features local community leaders as well as singers, dancers and musicians. There are both long-standing cast members and new talent.

Members of the cast for the night’s festivities include former Mukilteo mayor Joe Marine who will be the master of ceremonies, the Everett Chorale, tap dancing, break-dancers, Everett High School’s jazz band and many more.

Barry McConnell, the CEO of Make-A-Wish of Alaska and Washington, will be onstage to help the cast teach the local community how to support a child’s very special wish.

The Christmas Spectacular will also help celebrate Lee Mathews 25th and last season as the director of the Everett Chorale.

This year after the Pledge of Allegiance, a new video recording of the Hollywood Studios Orchestra in Los Angeles playing Commandment of Valor will be presented by Charles-Henri Avelange, the composer, to honor the men and women in the armed forces.

The event is produced and directed by Sanford Wright.

For more information on the event as well as purchasing tickets, visit http://thechristmasspectacular.com.

Admission is $20 as well as five cans of food, which will be donated to local food banks. Tickets may also be purchased at the door the day of the event.
