A gigantic thanks! | Letter

Editor, The Beacon:

Especially when grants and funding are hard to come by for our type of services, MS Helping Hands and Donor Closet wants to thank our generous continuing contributors, grantors, and various donors.

Without them, we would not be able to provide the services we currently do.  Since our inception in 1999, we have provided over $430,000 in financial assistance and recycled 200,000 pieces of equipment – and the needs are still rising.

Again a “Gigantic Thanks” to Boeing Employee Fund, Walmart Foundation, The Everett Clinic Foundation, Costco Employee Giving, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, JP Morgan Chase Employee Giving, and various personal donors.

We provide services and resources for people with specific needs that will enhance their quality of life, the ability to stay in their homes, to not feel isolated, have the ability to work, and be able to live healthier lives in Washington State.

This is achieved by having used and new Durable Medical and Mobility Equipment available for a suggested minimum donation here at the Donor Closet for anyone when resources are limited.

We also provide services for those with Multiple Sclerosis through financial assistance, providing equipment, support groups, and more.

The Donor Closet location is under the IGA Grocer at 409 Howell Way. The Donor Closet is open from 10-3 Monday-Saturday. Call 425-712-1807 for more information.  www.mshelp.org
