ALA climb aims for $50K goal

Jan 08, 2014

The American Lung Association’s Fight For Air Climb is an invigorating multi-floor ascent of the Rainier Tower on Jan. 25.

According to ALA spokesman Ryan Davis, the event offers both a physical and charitable challenge and would be a fun and healthy team builder for your company.

There are options to climb 40, 80, or 160 floors inside the iconic Rainier Tower, 1301 5th Ave., Seattle, to raise more than $50,000 for the Lung Association’s education, research, and advocacy work.

Climbers participate to:

• Honor someone

• Support clean, healthy air

• Meet New Year’s fitness goals with your coworkers

• Compete against other climbers

• Say you climbed Rainier!

The event is open to you, your friends, families, competitive racers, company teams and weekend warriors.

Besides supporters like Laura Shanks, her family and friends, the climb enjoys a number of corporate sponsors, including primary sponsor Fidelity Investments.
