Anderson takes third place at Wesco meet | Cross country

Kamiak’s top three runners ran strong at the Wesco girls cross country championships.

Seniors Alicia Anderson and Leah Clark finished third and fourth and freshman Emma Arceo took fifth place Saturday, Oct. 20, at Lakewood High School. The three helped the Knights take seventh overall.

Lake Stevens’ Taylor Roe took first place and Glacier Peak won the team title.

In the boys race, Kamiak sophomore Carp Mukai finished 15th overall. Teammate Jason Blinn placed 20th. Jackson’s Joseph Skoog won the race and Arlington captured the team championship. The Knights placed sixth overall.
