Book reading highlights support for children living with cancer

Children from Malasia support children living with cancer through the “Maximo and the Big C” book reading project.

On Monday, Dec. 23, The Max Foundation ( will present a reading of the book “Maximo and the Big C” at Revelations Yogurt on Main Street in Edmonds.

Revelations Yogurt has agreed to donate 10 percent of yogurt sales and tips during the reading to support copies of the book for children around the world facing cancer.

All of the children present in the audience at the reading will receive their own copy of “Maximo and the Big C.” Everyone in the community is welcome to join!

The free reading takes place from 6-7:30 p.m. at Revelations Yogurt, 527 Main St., Edmonds.

“Maximo and the Big C” is a storybook for all ages that illustrates each person’s inner power to overcome the fear and adversity by serving others in need.

Written by a team of MAX cancer advocates and produced by The Max Foundation, the book was created to inspire children affected by cancer to be brave and courageous in the face of adversity.
