Edmonds-Woodway beats Kamiak in Wesco showdown | Girls prep soccer

The Edmonds-Woodway girls soccer team beat Kamiak on Tuesday, Sept. 17 in a league showdown. The final score was 1-0 for the Warriors.

The teams battled through a scoreless first half and despite scoring chances on both sides, the game’s only goal didn’t come until later in the second half when Salina Saucedo scored in the 64th minute.

Edmonds-Woodway goalie Kiera Towell was credited with the shutout.

Edmonds-Woodway is 3-0 in league play this season and 3-0 overall, while Kamiak was 2-1 so far this year.
