For the fourth-straight year, the Lighthouse Festival will honor local heroes with an appreciation dinner.

The Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival will hold the fourth-annual Military and First Responders Appreciation Dinner Friday, Sept. 7, at 6 p.m. to thank first responders and the military for their service.

Local police and fire agencies, as well as personnel from nearby military agencies such as the Naval Station in Everett are among those who will be in attendance for the dinner.

Friday’s special event will feature a catered dinner courtesy of Ivar’s on the lawn at the Mukilteo Lighthouse.

Those who have served, or continue to serve in the military or as firefighters, police as well as search and rescue are invited to the dinner. Their families are also welcome.

Admission is by invitation only. Military and first responders who didn’t receive an invite may request one by emailing Marilyn Langdon at exec.director@mukfest.com.
