Local Bainbridge Island author Brenda Fantroy-Johnson will share her life and her book "Imagine Me" with the Mill Creek Women’s Club. It is a fascinating and inspiring story of will and determination.  She details how a "good girl" grew up in the 60's in Detroit, a place where dreams were formed from living and surviving within a city ghetto.  She refused to let herself quit, even during very difficult times.  Her book will be available for purchase. Reservations for the luncheon can be made by emailing membershipMCWC@gmail.com by Wednesday, Oct. 11.  $30 for members, and $33 for guests and members without reservations. Doors open at 10:30 a.m., with meeting at 11.
