International Migratory Bird Day at Demo Garden

Edmonds Wildlife Habitat Native Plant Demonstration Garden
May 10, 2014
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

A Puget Sound Bird Observatory workshop on small owls will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at the Edmonds Wildlife Habitat Native Plant Demonstration Garden. This will be a great family activity, and everyone is welcome.

In honor of International Migratory Bird Day, participants will learn about small owls and what we can do to save them and then build an owl nest box.  The boxes will be available for adoption, and those adopting them will learn how to monitor and record what happens at their box.

There is no charge for the workshop, but donations are welcome to cover the cost of the building materials. Registration is requested so they will have enough building supplies available for the owl boxes.  Please contact or call 425-771-8165.
