The Kamiak boys basketball team earned a league win over Cascade on Friday night, one of the few games thanks to snowy weather. The Knights won with a 69-60 final score.

Kamiak led 17-16 at the end of the first quarter, posting a 35-33 lead at halftime.

In the second half, both teams scored 20 points in the third quarter, but Kamiak's 14-7 outing in the final eight minutes earned the Knights the win.

Tyler Nielsen had a season high of 25 points during the game, while Drew Blacksmith added 10 points. Aman Hussein, Nate Schubert each scored eight points, Henderson Belk added six, Chance Lord posted four, while Faris Anas scored three.

The Knights, now 2-1 in league and 2-3 overall, will play in the Bothell High School tournament beginning on Friday, Dec. 27 at Bothell High School.

The team returns to league action with a game against Edmonds-Woodway on Jan. 2.
