On Saturday, Feb. 2, the Kamiak cheer team performed their “Game Day” routine to a packed gym at Battle Ground High School near Vancouver, Washington.

The cheer team worked hard to improve their qualifying scores and become a trophy contender.

On Saturday, the cheerleaders focused and performed an energetic and sharp routine, earning the second highest score in the “Game Day-Medium” category.

Overall, the cheer team enjoyed competing, and said they are excited to continue learning new skills to incorporate in both sideline cheering and competition routines.

“I’m incredibly proud of the Kamiak cheer team!” said coach Kim Nelson.
