Kamiak grad a silver level ice skater

U.S. Figure Skating has awarded Kamiak's Aimee Young a certificate in recognition of Silver Level Achievement for Synchronized Team Ice Skating.

There are four categories of recognition based on competition and test achievements in all disciplines of figure skating. Student-athletes are rewarded based on their highest level of achievement.

Young has been skating for the last 14 years and is part of the Class of 2012 at Kamiak High School and will be leaving June 20 to skate with the Denver Synchronicity nationally ranked junior team for the next year.

She is the daughter of Sean and Melani Young.
