The Kamiak lacrosse team is headed to the playoffs for the first time since 2016.

A 20-4 victory over Archbishop Murphy on Tuesday, April 30, secured the playoff berth for the Knights, who later lost 15-7 to Cascade/Jackson in a nonconference clash on Thursday, May 2, at Kamiak High School.

The Knights (6-2 in the league, 7-4 overall) honored five seniors – Justin Walberg-Smith, Benny Grayson, Joe Lee, Jake Rudek and Miles Malkoc, who were playing their final home game. Lee led Kamiak with three goals. The Knights were scheduled to face Monroe on Tuesday, May 7, after the Beacon’s deadline.
